Partnerships

We pride ourselves on the partnerships we have developed over the years with the local community.

Local Authority:

The school works alongside the local authority to develop it’s provision for the community.

 Inclusion Support:

The school’s Inclusion Team are supported by Sandwell’s Inclusion Support Team to support individual children throughout the school.  For more information please visit the SEN section of the website.

Makaton Charity:

Makaton is an integral part of our school and School Council fundraise to support this charity.  The Makaton charity have visited our school to lead workshops, parent sessions and assemblies.

Downs Syndrome Association:

We support this charity annually by supporting the ‘Lots of Socks’ fundraiser.  The DSA have also led assemblies and provided us with resources to share with the children, staff and parents.

Morrisons Supermarket:

We are involved with regular fundraising events with Morrisons.  Children have participated in bag packing and singing events to raise money for a number of charities.  Morrisons have also held competitions for our children to enter and also participate in celebration assemblies within school.

Network Rail:

Network Rail have supported continual development and expansion of our Forest School by providing essential equipment and resources.

Friends of Old Park Association:

FOSA are a group of dedicated parents who organise social events throughout the school year to raise money for extra facilities and resources for our school to the benefit of all of our children. It’s a voluntary group, which relies on parents to give up some time of their own free will.

University of Wolverhampton:

We are proud to support University of Wolverhampton in providing school placements for trainee teachers.

Dolce:

DolcDolce Schools Catering | School Meals Catering Company | School Catering  Providere have worked with us to create healthy food, using local produce, that is cooked in a way that suits the tastes of young children.

Wednesbury PCSO:

Our local PCSOs work closely with our school to educate our children on road safety, e –safety and bullying.

Clic Sargent:

We have worked alongside Clic Sargent to raise over £21,000 in the last 10 years to support their mission to support families with children living with and battling cancer.

Open the Book:

We have worked alongside our local ‘Open the Book’ team in providing exciting assembly opportunities for all children at Old Park.
