Wednesbury Learning Community Trust:
As a member of the trust, we have developed effective working partnerships which enable us to: raise teaching and learning standards; develop school leadership; manage resources; raise aspirations across the community and participate in joint pupil events and school-to-school support.
Wednesbury Teaching School Alliance:
Staff within school deliver specific training to other schools through the alliance. Old Park are also proud to support the alliance’s School Direct course, investing in teachers of the future.
Wednesbury Children’s Centres:
The Family Offer – Action for Children
- The New Service is a Family Offer for children and young people aged 0-25 and their parents
- It is a town based universal and universal plus support service for parents and their children
- The service brings together a range of previously contracted services for 0- 25 year olds under 1 access point
- The service went live from the 1st of April 2017 and the current contract (s) are until the 31st March 2019

The school works alongside the local authority to develop it’s provision for the community.
Wood Green Academy:
We have worked hard to develop transition links with Wood Green Academy to ensure that our pupils are fully equipped for the next level of their education.
Orchard Special School:
Our school uses the Orchard Outreach programme to ensure we are meeting the needs of children who require personalised provision. Our school have also welcomed children from the Orchard to attend our school for events and transition work.
We are involved with regular fundraising events with Morrisons. Children have participated in bag packing and singing events to raise money for a number of charities. Morrisons have also held competitions for our children to enter and also participate in celebration assemblies within school.
Network Rail have supported continual development and expansion of our Forest School by providing essential equipment and resources.
Friends of Old Park Association:
FOSA are a group of dedicated parents who organise social events throughout the school year to raise money for extra facilities and resources for our school to the benefit of all of our children. It’s a voluntary group, which relies on parents to give up some time of their own free will.
University of Wolverhampton:
We are proud to support University of Wolverhampton in providing school placements for trainee teachers.
Mellors have worked with us to create healthy food, using local produce, that is cooked in a way that suits the tastes of young children.
Our local PCSOs work closely with our school to educate our children on road safety, e –safety and bullying. A junior PCSO scheme has been developed in school to help keep our community safe.
We have worked alongside Clic Sargent to raise over £21,000 in the last 10 years to support their mission to support families with children living with and battling cancer.
